"You did not chose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit - fruit that will last." - John 15:16
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you today for everything You are. Thank you for making me a new person and taking out the junk that was keeping me from a life in Your presence. I ask you this day to please bless AlfonZo Rachel and his ministry. Lord, may he know You are with him and may he always be accepting of Your counsel. Thank you God for being so just. Amen.

this is a few days late to get to the board, we had a little healthcare bill to try and stop. Sorry for the delay.
"...and he kept on..." - Luke 4:44
Dear God,
You know our disappointment, and understand our pain without ever a word being said. You know the struggle and the fight we are in. Please God, give us strength. When Christ was lonely and tired here on earth, He relied on His heavenly strength to fortify Him. Father God, we ask you today for a renewed portion of heavenly strength. May Your name be made great and may our lives be used for Your glory. Please bless AlfonZo, his family and ministry. God, use Your servant AlfonZo for Your will on this earth. Please bless him and provide for his every need according to Your riches and Your glory. Thank you for being in my life and for showing Your love to all who ask. May we persevere for You. Amen.

The word "makarios" means "blessed by God" in Greek. To be blessed by God is to have His perfect will be demonstrated through your life and to have His hand on your life. Lots of people may think to be blessed is to be rich in cash, but what if all believers tapped into God's will and lived so that His hand would be upon us? I can't imagine a world where so much would be possible.
Dear God, we thank you this day. As we recall Your gift to this nation on this Thanksgiving weekend, we thank you for Your loving hand on our lives. We ask you this day for a refreshing of Your Spirit in the life of AlfonZo and his wife. Bless their ministry and guide them to teach transgressors Your Word. Thank you for this country. God, we ask for revival. May we be used to bring the saving and forgiving message of Jesus Christ to this hungry nation. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for being just. Thank you for Your Word. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Kings of kings and Lord of lords. Amen.
May you live a life that is makarios!

I'm a couple days late, sorry AlfonZo!
Dearest Holy Father who loves us all, I ask you today for your blessings to descend on your beloved. Thank you for this time of year, but thank you most of all for Jesus. It's all about Him. May we know that now more than ever. Please bless AlfonZo, his wife, their family, and their ministry. May they "contend for the faith" in these days. Amen.
But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Jude 20-21

Dear God, our Father, Provider, and Friend,
Thank you for the gift of Your Son, who came to this earth to live like we live. To do like we do and to understand sin. Thank you for sharing Him with us and caring so much for the people You lovingly made to give us a way out of sin. Thank you. Please bless our nation this Christmas. May the hearts of our people - your people - be drawn close to You. Please forgive us of our sins and provide a way for believers to help us out of this mess. Thank you for AlfonZo, his family and his ministry. Please bless them and his employers and those who are touched by his ministry. We love you O God! And I give you all the glory for You are great. Amen.
And she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:7

Thank you God for a Christmas of Your miracles! Thank you for the safety of those on the Detroit flight. Thank you for families reunited and for lives touched by Your presence this Christmas. Thank you for AlfonZo, his wife and family and their ministry. Touch them this new year and give them perseverance to walk in You. Dearest Father God, You are the Alpha and the Omega. Bring new beginnings to the lives of Your people and end those things in us that are holding us back from realizing Your potential for our lives. Thank you. Amen.
May 2010 find you wrapped in the presence of the Almighty God who made you, provides for you, and loves you just the way you are! May you look for ways to allow Him access to your WHOLE life and may you be richly blessed!

"Contend O Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me." - Psalm 35:1[/b]
What if we resolved that in 2010 we would let God fight our battles for us? His yoke is easy... Just sayin'.
Dear Jesus, Thank you for another year and another opportunity to live our lives for You. Thank you for the goodness and righteousness only You can provide. Please be with us this year so that our lights shine brighter and our words are seasoned with salt so that those who do not know of your uncompromising grace will accept You as the Lord of their lives. Thank you for Zo and his ministry. Thank you for his family that shares him and his talents with others. Grant him the provisions he needs daily to share Your love with others. We ask this in Your name - the name of Jesus Christ - the most awesome name ever. Amen.

"He told them: Take nothing for the journey - no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra tunic." - Luke 9:3
Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you for caring for us. Thank you for the miracles we're seeing out of Haiti. Please be with the workers there. Be with the military and the care workers. But most of all, please be with the citizens. Feed the babies, comfort the mothers and fathers, bless the people with Your love and compassion. May they come to know you and live by faith to find the physical necessities required to sustain and help others. Please also bless our friend AlfonZo and his family this week. Be with them when they are lonely, and bless them with Your inspiration. Everything we have in this life is yours. May we use it for Your honor and not our own. Thank you Jesus. Thank you for everything. Amen.

Therefore as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Colossians 3:12[/b]
Dear God, Thank you for loving us and caring for us. May we live this week clothed in Your message of hope so that we can be Your light in this dark world. Thank you for each other and our brothers and sisters in Christ. We lift up AlfonZo and his wife this week. Please guide them and bless them. Bolster Zo's leadership so that he can do Your perfect will and be a friend to others. Thank you God! Thank you! Amen.

Sorry Zo. I haven't forgotten you! My time hasn't been my own the past few weeks, but I hope to see you at CPAC.
Dear Father God, I lift up my friend and brother Alfonzo and his family this day. Please bless them and provide for their needs. Lord God, we ask that you reinforce Alfonzo's faith and may he seek You and You alone to lead his days. Thank you for your faithfulness to us. I love you God, and know You love us. Amen.

Zo, I hope you and your ministry are going great! It's been one year since we started praying for you weekly. After one year, I'm going to not be able to come back to the forum every week like before, but I will come back periodically and still remember you, your wife, your ministry and family in our prayers.
God is preparing us all for His service and in the service of others. May He bless you and continue to open His will for your life.
Dear Father God, Thank you for bringing AlfonZo into the lives of so many Christian patriots who love You, love this gift of a country You've given us, and love knowing others who share the truth. Please inspire him, give him new ideas, and new vision. May he and his family draw close to You and feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in their days. Thank you God. Amen.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1
